Abstract
Aneurysmal bone cyst is the benign bone tumor that characteristically makes a large mass in soft tissues, with its base attached to the shaft of a long bone. The mass is surrounded by a thin, domelike shell of the calcified bone enclosing cystic spaces which are filled with blood. The linings of the cystic spaces are markedly cellular, and so they may closely resemble a giant cell tumor.
Involving lesions are usually the vertebrae, flat bones, shafts of the long bones, and small bones of the hands and feet. This is a case report.of aneurysmal bone cyst in occipital bone, which developed without traumatic origin in thirty years old Korean woman. I experienced that the goose egg-sized aneurysmal bone cyst in occipital bone was surgically removed and X-ray deep therepy was applied on it to gets good result.
